Open Problems in Cell Biology 

I am interested in understanding the role of the diffusion processes
in membrane surface during cell-cell and ligand-cell interactions
particularly in the immune recognition process (for example dendritic
cells). Another important class of phenomena involve intercellular
diffusion, particularly in signal transduction. There is a tremendous
lack of methodologies while biological experiments show diffusion is a
key limiting factor.
