"Thermodynamic transformations of nonequilibrium states"

Abstract
We consider transformations driving a thermodynamic system from
a stationary state to another one. We study the energetic balance
within the macroscopic fluctuation theory developed in the last ten 
years in collaboration with Bertini, De Sole, Gabrielli and Landim. 
We discuss in particular how the large deviation functional can be related 
to the work involved in the transformations.
